I am looking for queer books with discreet covers, and no cheesy cartoon covers. i do love some books with cartoon covers, but people have assumptions about those books and i want to be able to read my queer smut in PEACE. love and light!! (romance, drama, contemporary.. anything!)

No recommendations but I got a tip from when I was reading Twilight at school. Get a “normal” book with one of those removable covers and put them on whatever you’re reading lol
Sarah Waters’ books have such discreet covers that when I first read Tipping The Velvet I thought “wow, these ladies are such nice friends and they really care about each other!” It took me a while to get it. I’m slow sometimes but I was also young and pretty sheltered.
Get an ebook (you can find them used) then no one will know what you’re reading
But Not Too Bold by Hache Pueyo

Get a fabric book cover and read whichever story appeals to you.
Starting point: [https://www.amazon.com/fabric-book-covers/s?k=fabric+book+covers](https://www.amazon.com/fabric-book-covers/s?k=fabric+book+covers)
If you have a Kinokuniya near you, that’s another great place to shop in case you don’t like Amazon.
