Short book to get out of reading slump?

Looking for a short book under 250 pages to get out of a reading slump.

I’d prefer something that came out recently.

I’ll ready any genre. I’m a big Pratchett guy and *was* a huge Gaiman fan but yknow..

I’ve read a few John Scalzis books and I’m partway into the second DCC book but it’s been a bit of a slog for me.

Last book I finished was “everything is tuberculosis” and that was in January.

I also can’t really remember much of what I have read so I don’t mind going back and rereading stuff.

I’d prefer not to do the classics and was hoping for something from 2025, but frankly I’ll take anything at this point
