Can you suggest any so called urban fantasy books? Like fantasy in the modern world with modern technology and lifestyle bit with wizards and monsters. Like the night watch of lukyanenko for example
Rivers of London is my favourite series. The main character is a London police officer who meets a ghost and ends up joining the magical arm of the metropolitan police and training to be a wizard. He has endless frustrations with the impact of magic on technology and is constantly trying to come up with ways around that.
The audiobooks for this series are also excellent.

The Preternatural Chronicles by Hunter Blain, im no good at describing plots so here’s a summary from google.
“urban fantasy series following John Cook, a sarcastic, Deadpool-esque vampire seeking vengeance and redemption. After his family is murdered, John sells his soul for power, later teaming with Father Thomes to battle dark, supernatural evils. The series is known for dark humor, pop culture references, and intense action.”
There are 11 books currently (plus novellas), I really enjoy them. Definitely worth a read/listen in my opinion.
