I read *Hamnet* by Maggie O’Farrell just before the movie came out. I have not yet seen the movie but it has been nominated for several Oscars.

I just watched People We Meet on Vacation. I’ve actually never read the book but I hope it’s better than the movie. The movie felt sort of flat to me. It started off okay & then I was fast forwarding trying to get to the “good” parts (which were mostly at the end). Fingers crossed the book is more interesting 🙂
