Hello everyone, new to this group and grateful to be here.

As the title of this post says, I am looking for books suggestions.
There are few topics I am interested in, here a list:

-Life after death from a nihilistic prespective(pessimistic and not).

    -The absurdity of the universe.

    -NDE.

    -Meditation and spirituality.

-The US imperialistic wars (Vietnam, Iraq,Iran).

    -Chinese medicine and practical applications.

    -Gaza and Israel.

    -Wicca.

Thank you so much in advance!

    1. Quite the varied interests! I love it.

For the universe, and everything in it, I’d start with **Bill Bryson’s** book: **A Short History of Nearly Everything** or **Niel deGrass Tyson**’s book **Astrophysics for People in a Hurry.**

There are too many books to list about US military history written by people that hate the US and US policy prior to the atrocities of the current administration. The four that stand out are:

**The Jakarta Method: Washington’s Anticommunist Crusade and the Mass Murder Program that Shaped Our World”** by Vincent Bevins (2020)

**The United States of War** by David Vine (2021)

**A Nation Unmade by War** Tom Englhardt (2018)

And especially **Un-American: A Soldiers Reckoning of Our Longest Wa**r by Erik Edstrom (2020)

    2. hmmwhatsoverhere on

*The Jakarta method* by Vincent Bevins

*The hundred years’ war on Palestine* by Rashid Khalidi

      *Washington bullets* by Vijay Prashad

    3. For the US wars in the Middle East, amongst other things, The Great War for Civilisation: The Conquest of the Middle East by Robert Fisk.

A Line in the Sand by James Barr is about how England and France divided by the Middle East
