Looking for a book similar to Carmilla

I’ve just finished reading Carmilla and Hungerstone and i’m looking for another book that’s similar in its themes.

anything involving gothic horror and vampires with a hint of romance (preferably sapphic) would be ideal ! bonus points if it’s a period book and has moments of introspection and discussion on women’s struggles in said time period. i’m sure there are loads of books out there with those themes but it’s so hard sorting through which ones are actually good and which ones are just YA fantasy
