Hi everyone,
I recently started getting into reading books and I’m really enjoying it so far. I’ve read a few beginner-friendly ones like Madol Doova and I’m planning to read more.
I’m looking for some good book recommendations that are:
Easy to read (since I’m still a beginner)
Interesting and not boring
Maybe adventure, life lessons, or fun stories
Sinhala or English books are both okay for me.
Some books I’m already considering:
Madol Doova
Harry Potter series
The Alchemist
I’d really appreciate if you can suggest some of your favorite beginner-friendly books 😊

Read harry Potter first, if that is your reading level there is not a lot which is better.

Michael Ondaatje is a great Sri Lankan writer but not beginner-friendly, you might want to read Anil’s Ghost someday.
