Can anyone recommend me a good book(s) on the sword and sorcery genre? Things like Sinbad, Conan the Barbarian, etc. I’ve mainly read high fantasy my entire life like GOT, Eragon, LOTR, etc. and I want to branch out. It can be newer or older.

I recently read the Kingkiller Chronicles and enjoyed them, would recommend (also a fan of the series’ you’ve read). Unfortunately the release date of the 3rd book is TBA

The Acts of Caine by Matthew Woodring Stover
The Broken Sword by Poul Anderson
First Law series by Joe Abercrombie
The Last Hero by Terry Pratchett.
Michael Moorcock – Elric or Eternal Champion series.
Also, Karl Edward Wagner’s Kane series is pretty dark and gritty Conan style S&S.
