    I've only just been getting back into reading and have been on a streak of Cormac McCarthy and other westerns. In high school I really enjoyed The Sun Also Rises and read other books with modernist themes. I would like to expand my horizons and not just be a dude-bro-lit sort of reader.

    Obviously this is an ugly oversimplification of my reading but I don't want to drone on too long. Thanks!

      Death comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather and Butchers Crossing by John Williams. Found both deeply affecting in different ways while both having ‘western’ vibes.
