Hi everyone,
As the title reads, I’m looking for non-fiction books about the AIDS epidemic. In particular, books that analyze the crisis through a social epidemiology or medical anthropology lens, something similar to Paul Farmer.
Bonus points if the book explores the African experience, as many sources on the AIDS crisis, unfortunately are very American centric and I wanted to learn more about how the AIDS epidemic functioned within different social identities on race, class, and gender.
Thank you so much in advance!
