Hello all, I’m working on a novel right now and it’s about a combat medic in Vietnam, normal infantry. Any good book recommendations? I need something that uses medical terms, has compelling story, and is genuinely thought provoking. That’s basically what I’m writing, and because I’m a teen I need to see how others do it because there’s no way what I’m writing right now is as good. I have read TTTC by Tim O’Brain, and I am aware about Matterhorn. And I have Hue by Mark Bowden. If there als any other good Vietnam books about soldiers and the war, I would love to know!

The Women by Kristin Hannah is about a woman serving as a nurse in combat during the Vietnam War. It’s very good.
