I want a book similar to the short movie “portrait of God”. Like, if we can completely understand the concept of what is God, it would be consequences. Basically I want a book about an enemy that we can’t win, we are watched all the time for this enemy and we are powerless.

damn this sounds wild, reminds me of some cosmic horror stuff like lovecraft but with that religious twist. you might dig “the luminous dead” by caitlin starling – not exactly god but has that unstoppable force watching you vibe. or check out “annihilation” by jeff vandermeer, theres this presence that just warps everything and you cant fight it or even really comprehend what its doing to you
been deployed in some pretty isolated spots and that feeling of being watched by something way bigger than you hits different. cosmic horror does that whole “humans are ants” thing really well. also maybe look into some borges short stories, dude writes about infinite libraries and labyrinths that mess with your head in a similar way
