Anyone have a suggestion for a book which completely envelopes all the senses from the very first page. 'And I don't mean flowery prose' – Just all "the gut" emotions. I'm trying to distract myself from impending surgery. IYKYN. And thanks so much! OH, I forgot. Genre not important – I read most.
