i read this book last year and absolutely loved it! not typically a fan of non fiction, i liked the fact that it was more of an anthology of different cultural and anthropological viewpoints enmeshed in a creative way.

does anyone know of any books similar? not necessarily by sherry turkle or covering the same themes (objects) but more just books that are an anthology of diff perspectives, made accessible.

    Thanks

That book’s brilliant – love how it weaves together all those different voices without feeling like a dry academic collection. You might dig “The Empathy Exams” by Leslie Jamison, it’s got that same accessible anthology vibe but with personal essays exploring different aspects of human experience. Another good shout is “Ways of Seeing” by John Berger if you haven’t read it already – short, punchy chapters that look at art and culture from completely different angles.
