Hi!
I’m looking for some cool and pretty coffee table books but not about design/art/architecture – i already have a lot of those, as it interests me a lot. But now I want to get some books related to my field. I study Human-Tech/Computer Science with focus on AI. But my problem is that all books on that topic are kind of ugly? Is it impossible to combine good aesthetics with nerdy subjects?
Can you help?

oh i totally get this struggle! most tech books are just walls of text with terrible covers
you might want to check “the age of surveillance capitalism” by shoshana zuboff – not exactly coffee table style but way more visually appealing than typical CS books. also “weapons of math destruction” has decent design for a data science book. maybe look at some of those taschen books about digital art or early computer graphics, they bridge that gap between tech and aesthetics pretty well
