Hi everyone,
I'm looking for Science Fiction books with female protagonists.
Similar to the series of Starfighters by Grace Goodwin, just without romance and spice.
(Although if there is human x alien romance pls add that too, it's very much welcome. As long as the aliens are NOT just humans with some extra body parts and colours.. Humanoid is okay.)
Age of the protagonist can be teen. But I prefer the adults.
I would love them doing something they love or work on doing what they love.
Like flying or having robotic suits(not humanoid suits would be cool too).
Specific work like engineering would bee cool too. So they can build their own and or repair their own/others.
Exploring and alien contact would be extremely nice too.

I’m going to be honest, I’m not sure if this fits what you’re asking for but *Of Monsters and Mainframes* by Barbara Truelove. The main character is the ship.

*Chilling Effect* by Valerie Valdes. Psychic cats! A captain and her motley crew try adn make their way as small time cargo haulers.
Adrian Tchaikovsky’s *Children of Time* has female main characters of multiple species. The main human protagonist is a terraformer.
