My husband read (the Dutch translation of) Death at the White Hart by Chris Chibnall. He's usually not an avid reader, but very much enjoyed this book and repeatedly stated he would like to read something similar. So any recommendations for similar books are very much appreciated!

My boyfriend picked up some Nordic noir stuff after getting into crime mysteries and really loved it. Maybe try something like Henning Mankell or Tana French since they have that same kind of atmospheric detective work going on. The writing style is bit different but the mystery solving part should scratch same itch for him
