some books hit differently depending on when you read them, and what once felt confusing suddenly makes sense years later
for example, for me it was 1984 by George Orwell. The first time I read it, it just felt like a strange dystopian story, but later I started to understand the deeper themes about control and reality

for me it was *east of eden*
first time I read it I didn’t really get it. just felt long and kind of all over the place
read it again later and it hit completely different… more about people, choices, and how things play out over time than anything actually happening
I think some books don’t change, you just meet them at a different point and suddenly they make sense in a way they didn’t before
Animal Farm for me. Read it as kid thinking was just story about farm animals, but years later realized was about political systems and power corruption
Kafka Metamorphosis. Wasn’t ready for it when I read it, makes sense now
