Susan Elia MacNeil and Kathryn Miller Haines both have series featuring women that are set during WWII. And while they’re sci fi, Connie Willis has two books called Black Out and All Clear that are set in WWII. They basically involve historians who are sent back from the future to study WWII and get stranded.

A Woman of No Importance by Sonia Parnell. It’s non fiction- but what a ride! It’s the biography of Virginia hall: The first woman to be recruited as a spy in occupied France, has one leg, fights her own government, fights the enemy, is just resilient-but not in a superhero syrupy way! Really amazing-and aspirational-and humble-and capable-and and and-highly recommend!
