i love classic literature, it’s primarily what i read. i’ve read almost all the Brontë sister’s works, Victor Hugo, Camus, Toni Morrison, Homer, Tartt, Dumas, Lispector, etc. but i’ve been struggling to find new things to read, i tried different genres i don’t read, as well as others i do(i enjoy horror/thriller) but i love the depth and introspection commonly found in classics, and there are so, so many i haven’t even touched the threshold of. the recommendations can be ‘modern’ classics or literary fiction as well

Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse
The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins, Hope Leslie by Catherine Maria Sedgwick, Green Mansions by W. H. Hudson, The Woman of Colour by Anonymous, and Dawn by Octavia Butler.
My flair. 🙂
Here’s a few:
Quo Vadis by Sienkewiecz
Of Human Bondage by Maugham
Moon and Sixpence by Maugham
Check out Beware of Pity by Stefan Zweig and Madonna in a Fur Coat by Sabahattin Alli,
The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde is a short, funny ghost story, so maybe not to your regular taste, but I enjoyed it and recommend it to friends.
