I’ve been thinking about this a lot, especially after finishing this “children’s” book.
The dude got his body parts cut from a curse on his own axe by the girl’s guardian, to just shrug it all off, get replacement tin body parts, to then keep swinging his axe out of pure love for the girl.
Once he got everything replaced to tin, he stopped feeling love, but still kept chopping trees. Based.
Then after meeting the main character, he basically one-shots everything he fights. He went against a lot of wolves and just one-shotted all of them.
What’s funny, to me, is that the curse stopped working because apparently his now tin body is so strong that it can take the force of his own axe swing.
What’s funny is that the story never explains if the curse got removed. I assumed the entire time that he kept getting hit by his own axe, after every swing. But, I think it got removed once he no longer had a heart.
Still, out of everybody, he seems like the strongest character in that book. He made the book a lot more pleasurable to read.
