My toddler loves books with sound buttons – either built into the pages or along the side of the book. The more buttons, the better.
Would love recommendations for ones your kid actually kept coming back to, not just pressed a couple times and forgot about. Open to animal sounds, vehicles, music, bedtime, first words – anything really.

The Story Orchestra range of books are great. Maybe more directed toward older children but my now 3 year old enjoyed them at 2 too. A two year old probably would need help pressing the buttons in these though, mine did.
