Went there today for the first time in probably 8 or 9 years, and only because I had a giftcard (I bought Weezer's Blue Album on vinyl, in case you're wondering). But I was completely unaware that the store had not just one side of an aisle book section and a bin like Wal-Mart, but had multiple, long rows of shelves filled with books, albeit most of it seemed to be generic romantasy drivel and an entire 4 shelf section full of Sarah J Maas packaged collections. There were four, I counted, only four different manga, and a small section of classics and lots of YA that seemed to all be variations of one another, at least from the covers and titles. There was a nicely packaged hardcover collection of The Hobbit and LOTR that I might have considered if I didn't already have multiple copies. The children's section was nicely sized as well.
It was just a nice little surprise to see it tucked there in the back of the store. The location of the store isn't really convenient for me to go to on a regular basis, but just neat seeing it.

That’s not in every store.
They often have Buy 1 Get 1 sales as well.
I’m more surprised that they had that album on vinyl there.
They expanded it when they got rid of movies, TV shows and CDs.
The closest one to us is stacked pretty good but similar to what you described. A hefty amount of collections and stuff. Probably two solid shelves of the usual variety and a large clump of Colleen Hoover. 🙃
