I havent gotten a slightest clue as to what it feels like being a psychologist or psychiatrist or in general just having it as a career. This is for my writing project..

I dont rlly care if its an old book, a non fiction, or fiction ANYTHING works. Even if the Mc isnt a psychiatrist, im completely okay with that. Anything related psychology is okay too!

Check out Irvin Yalom. Fiction and non fiction. He’s a famous psychiatrist.

    2. **Group: How One Therapist and a Circle of Strangers Saved My Life**, by Christie Tate

    3. **Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed**, by Lori Gottlieb, was good, though I personally enjoyed Group (Christie Tate) more.

I have not read it yet, but its on my tbr.
      **Sociopath** by Patric Gagne

I find the premise very fascinating. Patric Gagne is an American therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a diagnosed Sociopath herself. The book is a memoir about her own struggles to understand her own sociopathy.
