Books that have a similar feel to the r/letsnotmeet story The Bridge – where a group of friends explore under a bridge and find a creepy used room with a chair in it

Something with people going somewhere they probably shouldn't, seeing creepy stuff, a claustrophobic atmosphere. Any type of vibe, supernatural, creature feature, or just humans being horrifying. Randomly thought about that post and how nifty it would be to read something similar 🙂

Or, just your favourite horror novel, with an eerie slow burn, or subtle moments that make your stomach drop. I'm easily pleased with media, so open to anything. Currently reading Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay, after finishing A Head Full of Ghosts, and liked the atmosphere he built up. If that helps with suggestions
