I just finished The Other Bennett Sister. Romance is usually not something I enjoy but I was into this one. I fancy another well written, light hearted romance story with good characters and drama. I like Jane Austin but defo more drama and not modern.
I started reading Burn Down Master's House since, which is a completely different vibe, and I find myself thinking of my previous book!

I really enjoy Amanda Quick’s historical romances for something funny and charming with a bit of drama (usually in the form of a mystery subplot). She also tends to write heroines who are odd and not “ladylike” and often neurodivergent-coded, so they may hit similarly to Mary!
Mischief, Mistress, and Deception are all favorites of mine and seem to be pretty well liked by others. Really though I’ve liked everything of hers except Scandal and Seduction.
