As far as a few I've liked-

    -Working Stiff by Judy Melinek

    -Corrupt Bodies by Peter Everett

-Thr Accidental Terrorist by William Shunn

    -Ruby Ridge by Jess Walter

-Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer

    -Death's Acre by Jon Jefferson

-I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

I'm interested in morticians and coroners experiences; slightly related, I would also really like something about/from an EMT or ER worker. There are a few on there that were just well written, I'm open to pretty much any subject matter if it's well written and engaging. Okay thank you!:)

you might really dig some of the paramedic memoirs out there – theres this whole genre of first responder stories that gets pretty intense. worked with a few EMTs through my job at airport and the stories they tell are wild

for mortician stuff theres some good books from funeral directors perspective that go deep into the behind scenes work. also if you liked the forensic angle from Deaths Acre maybe look into some crime scene investigator memoirs – they usually have that same mix of science and human stories

since you mentioned liking well written stuff regardless of topic, maybe check out some travel memoirs too. theyre often really engaging even when the subject seems ordinary at first
