Looking for books to gift a bookworm 11 year old. Really enjoyed Uncle Montagues Tales of Terror series and has just finished A Tale Dark and Grimm series. Tried to read the hobbit but found it a bit grown up language wise, enjoyed the movie but struggled with the book. Need ideas that will capture his interest whilst being age appropriate (a lot of the more macabre seem too old content wise)!
