Mother's Day is upon us and I'm looking to get my mom a book. She's not much of a reader but she loved the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore and she's an avid Hallmark fan.
I'm looking for a cozy romance novel with little to no smut and nothing depressing. Basically a super cheesy, feel-good Hallmark movie in a book. My mom is also in her 60's so the more contemporary social media influencer-type characters are not of much interest to her. I don't really read romance books so any suggestions are a big help.
Thanks!

The Bookshop on the Corner, by Jenny Colgan
Beth O’Leary books are like this, and I adore them.
Maybe she would like some Nicholas Sparks? I really like Abby Jimenez, she has some smut but more mild compared to others, I think.
Not a romance really (but there is a romantic thread) but she might enjoy : Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. I just finished it. It’s a warm, rich plot and has a lot off sentiment.
Pamela Kelley.
Nantucket Beach Plum Inn series- first book is Nantucket Inn
Montana Sweet Western Romances- first is Six Months in Montana
Jan Karon’s Mitford series- first book is At Home in Mitford.
