Honestly, simple as the title is. I’ve read mostly fantasy books, it’s always been my favorite genre. I’m looking for something that’s about goodness and overcoming evil.
I’m open to it all; sci-fi, fiction, non-fiction, mystery, thriller, and of course fantasy as I’ve mentioned.
Nothing graphic, gory or dark please, it’s a trigger for me.

East of Eden by John Steinbeck is the OG of goodness overcoming evil.
For fantasy, Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames
Does it require a happy ending?
The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins. It’s a darker fantasy with some bad stuff but nothing is super gory.
Edit: I’d also like to mention The Hike by Drew Magary. It’s kind of RPG but also not at the same time. I don’t know it’s weird but good.
