I’m not really into romance-focused stories, sci-fi, or typical self-help. What I enjoy most are books where the focus is on the inner lives of characters – their thoughts, emotional shifts, decision-making, and how they evolve over time.
Recently, I’ve enjoyed books like The Bell Jar, Animal Farm, and The God of Small Things (i have been reading it for quite a stretch of time tbh – it's a slow burn for me) . I’m trying to explore more in this space, especially books that are thoughtful, psychologically rich, and not overly plot-heavy.
Would love any recommendations that fit this vibe – especially ones that are engaging but not too dense or confusing.

You might really like “The Stranger” – it’s all about this guy’s detached way of seeing world and how his mind works, super introspective without being heavy on plot 😂 Also maybe try some Murakami if you haven’t already, his characters spend lot of time in their own heads figuring things out
