I have a bunch of books on me to be read list but having a hard time getting into anything right now. I need something that will grip me almost immediately!
I typically stick to light fantasy and sci fi but I’m open to all suggestions!

I just started Dark Matter by Blake Croich and it hooked me immediately

Pale Grey Dot, by Don Miasek. Cyberpunk + space opera.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas – Hunter S Thompson
If the first page doesn’t get you then you can move on.
He Who Fights Monsters by Travis Deverell. I needed something after DCC and Operation Bouncehouse.
I really liked Lexicon by Max Barry. Quick and reads like an action movie.
Wool by Hugh Howey. This fits in perfectly with what you’ve read and it’s SUCH a good book.
