Interesting/Good Werewolf Books?

Hello! I’m looking to ask if anyone has any recommendations for books that consider the werewolf mythology in a way that is genuinely thought-provoking well written/thought out. I would love something from the 1990s-present but I’m open to anything that explores werewolves in a serious, interesting way.

I’m reading Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab right now, around halfway through, and it’s making me consider what it’d be like to have a similar (perhaps even better?) piece of writing about werewolves.
