Philosophical books about higher beings interacting with humans?

I read The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain and I want similar books :3

– The higher beings can be aliens / deities / any fantastical or supernatural beings, as long as they have more power and/or more intellect than humans.
– I would prefer something literary and reflective or philosophical especially if it's about morality
