Station Eleven hits exactly what youre looking for – its all about how people connect and create meaning when society’s collapsing. The whole thing focuses on communities forming and art surviving rather than the typical survival horror stuff
Also maybe check out The Road but fair warning its pretty brutal. More focused on the human relationship aspect though which seems like your vibe. Both books basically ignore the “save the planet” angle and just deal with people being people when everything’s going to hell
