Looks for a book that is going to make me feel nostalgic for summer. I can remember reading a book when I was younger and in school that was set in the south in the summer time, that was very descriptive and I’ll always remember the feeling of reading in with the warm weather and feeling summery. Almost where the crawdads sing or the summer of 69 vibes? I have no clue if this makes sense!!! But before technology over took our lives, drinking a cold soda on a hot summer day?! Not necessarily historical fiction.

Haven’t read it myself but my sister swore by this Southern gothic novel last summer that had all those lazy afternoon vibes – might be worth checking your local library for anything in that genere.
