Romance series (like Bridgerton) with vivid, recurring city descriptions

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for book recommendations and I’m trying to find something very specific in terms of vibe.

I’d love a romance series similar to Bridgerton, where each book focuses on a different couple, with recurring characters you can get attached to over time.

But I’m especially looking for something where the setting (ideally a city) feels very vivid and present throughout the story — almost like a character itself. I want to really get immersed in the atmosphere and “live” in that place while reading.

I’m open to both historical and modern settings, but I’d prefer something relatively modern in writing style (easy to get into, emotionally engaging).

Bonus if it has:

– strong emotional connection between the two main characters

– a cozy or immersive vibe

– a setting that’s described in a recurring, detailed way
