Need to find a book for a friend who generally likes YA mystery and realistic fiction

My friends really enjoyed authors such as Holly Jackson and John Green and I also remember her liked Ace of Spades. Please give me so ideas on what to get her! Maybe keep it to YA and it’s fine if you recommend books not in the genres said if you think she would like them.
