The *Binti* series by Nnedi Okorafor, and alos anything else NK Jemisin is one of the leading lights of modern fantasy, can’t go wrong with her work The *Rosewater* series by Tade Thompson, he’s also got a good space mystery I forget the name of. Rebecca Roanhorse’s *Between Earth and Sky* and *Fourth World* series
