I’m looking for a good psychological thriller with a good plot twist. I’ve read some books that have pissed me off with their predictability (*cough the silent patient). I would like a book that i’m completely blindsided by the ending. Any recs help! Also no Freida Mcfadden if possible

Gone Girl messed me up for weeks after I finished it – Flynn really knows how to write characters that make you question everything you thought you knew. I went in thinking it was just another missing wife story and came out feeling like I needed therapy lol
For something a bit different try The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – I know it sounds more like romance but trust me the psychological elements and reveals hit hard. Also In the Woods by French is incredible if you dont mind a slower burn that builds to an absolutely wild conclusion
I learned to avoid reading any reviews or even the back cover summary too closely because people love spoiling twists in the most innocent seeming comments. Sometimes I’ll even put a sticky note over the synopsis and just go in completely blind based on the title alone
