I’ve already read a third already but I’m starting to feel very conflicted whether I like this book or not. I originally chose this bc I thought it will be suspenseful and I don’t usually read anything with frequent sex scenes but so far I find the sex to be a bit too much lol and I’m missing the suspense aspect… Does it get more thriller-y as you continue? I find the main protagonist very annoying, too passive and almost a little bitch lol he just cannot stand up for himself and let’s people steam-roll over his feelings (I don’t like ppl like this in general so maybe that’s my problem). The first 100 or so pages got me hooked but I’m getting annoyed…. Maybe there’s just something I’m not quite getting yet, would love to hear other people’s opinions without giving away the story in case I do end up finifhing it!

I enjoyed reading it, but all I remember is that it didn’t really go anywhere. But hell, you’re that far into it, just finish it up, I say.
Having not read the book, but knowing BEE, I assume the passivity issue is going to explode in a deeply violent way later in the book. I think stick with it.
