Books that feel like Terlingua TX

Have any of you been to Terlingua and the Big Bend area in TX? I want a book that feels like the vibes in this area. Terlingua vibes are eccentric, transient type people, small town with lots of lore, rough living conditions but beautiful desert scenery. In Terlingua the locals hold costume parties on random nights for fun, and star parties are a given. The vibes here were basically immaculate-the perfect mix of weird, aesthetic, and rough around the edges. Any ideas? **the book doesn’t have to be IN Terlingua or Texas, we are going off of vibes only
