I’m looking to broaden my knowledge on things I never thought about too much but find interesting. Antarctica is one of those first subjects that come to mind. I’m hoping for a book that gives me a broader understanding of it, rather than something that focuses too specifically on one aspect or about a story or events that happen to take place there. Something very informational but digestible.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I read this amazing one about the geology and ice formations down there – really gets into how the continent actually works without being too academic. The way they explain ice movement and weather patterns is fascinating, especially when you think about how isolated everything is from rest of world
