I’m looking for books that don’t fully click right away maybe the writing style, structure, or ideas feel a bit confusing at the start
But as you keep reading, things begin to come together and it ends up being really satisfying
What book felt like that for you, and what made it worth sticking with?

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was like this for me – first chapters felt all over the place with timeline jumps and I couldn’t figure out why this interviewer was so important
But once you get deeper in the story structure starts making perfect sense and all those early confusing bits become really clever setup. The payoff when everything clicks together is chef’s kiss
