I know I could be picking any book and would benefit from it, but if you can think of something with pretty formulas, extensive vocabulary that would sure teach me "advanced english"…

English is not my native language and I don't practice it so I feel like I'm speaking some kind of broken english, Id like to fix that.

*The Phantom Tollbooth* by Norton Juster. Perhaps not as “advanced” as you may be thinking, but this YA book does an excellent job of introducing not just vocab, but English idioms, puns and wordplay.
