My 9 year old is using a curriculum that requires her to have a book series that has at least six books and build upon each other. Any recommendations?
if she likes fantasy, when i was 9 my favorite series was septimus heap! it’s 7 books long + an extra + a sequel trilogy. it’s a medieval-esque fantasy with some sci-fi elements following an apprentice wizard who is the seventh son of a seventh son, and thus very magical. it’s absolutely unique and has a wonderful cast of loveable characters!! there’s dragons, time travel, evil witches, alchemy, wizards, etc….what more can you want! a lot of people bill it as “medieval harry potter but about the weasleys” but i think this skims over SO much more of the fun going on.
