Book recs where the character is a female who is stubborn/angry but has realizations later on?

I tend to gravitate towards books where the female character is strong and opinionated, but then begins to introspect throughout the book and becomes a better/more aware version of herself. For example: pride and prejudice, Palace of illusions.

If not, I would like a good feminist read as well – not in a preachy way, but insightful and strong
