I want to read more but idk where to start
I appreciate Hemingway but didn’t love him
I LOVED Kazuo Ishiguro and think remains & let go are masterpieces (my favorite so far)
I didn’t love Steinbeck but appreciate him
Where should I go from here I’m thinking about Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead or my name is red

“The Eternal Smile” by Par Lagerkvist is wonderful.
And “Children if Gebelawi” by Naguib Mahfouz is also one of my favorites.
Churchill
I haven’t read much beyond Blindness by José Saramago but that was amazing. László Krasznahorkai has several excellent books as well.
