Read literally any of the dozens of discworld novels, there’s a reading guide but they’re generally considered anthological

Try Guards! Guards! or Wyrd Sisters or Hogfather by Terry Pratchett.

You might enjoy The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy if you haven’t read it already. It has the same kind of clever humor and absurd energy while still being surprisingly thoughtful underneath. Also Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman has a very immersive atmosphere and strong writing without romance being the main focus. And if you liked the balance of humor and darker themes, Discworld by Terry Pratchett is absolutely worth exploring.
