I had surgery a couple days ago and I'll be out of work for a few weeks. Looking for some recommendations to pass the time so I dont just doomscroll all day long.

I like mystery/thriller & romance but I'm open to any genre

    Thanks in advance!

Yesteryear is a huge hit right now.

I also just read Murder Bimbo and enjoyed it

Hope you recover well! I recovered from surgery recently too. I’m currently reading Sorcery of Thorns. It’s a fun adventure/romance with a well written main character.

If you like mystery/thrillers, The Silent Patient is a really easy one to get hooked on while recovering because it moves fast and keeps the tension going. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is also surprisingly addictive even if you’re not usually into YA.

And if you want something more psychological and atmospheric, A Night to Forget has that uneasy “something feels wrong” kind of tension that keeps you wanting to know what’s actually happening.

Hope recovery goes smoothly for you 🙏
